One of the largest and probably most recognized internet marketing online affiliate program is clickbank.com.  Click bank is one of the largest sites and the sites focus is on digital products.  This is where you can sign up to be an affiliate of info products like e-books, and also membership sites for downloadable items.  Think software, or even music downloads.  There are many different categories on the site from money and business, to entertainment, or pet and animal items.  The sign up process is quick and easy and you can start promoting items right away with Clickbank.  Just about everyone that is in the business does at least something with click bank, and for many, this is their only internet marketing online affiliate program.

Another site that is widely used is commission junction.  CJ, as it is also known, offers programs from the likes of guthy-renker (proactiv) to lending tree.  This site is a little more stringent on becoming an affiliate for certain programs.  Many of them you need to sign up for and seek approval.

Linkshare.com is another site that offers great programs too.  Now, with CJ, and linkshare, it is advised that you have a working website that is up and running because your approval depends on the viability and quality of the site.

What you will find there is a collection of some of the best magazines for sale. The reason you want to look at magazines, is the simple fact that the odds are that if a magazine exists for a particular subject, then there are hungry buyers in that market.

How many people that buy golf magazine buy golf related stuff? What about pc gamer magazine.  Think about it, you are probably an enthusiast of something and you probably bought a magazine or two about that item.  So check out magazine.com and you will have some great ideas. The other thing that is great about the site is you get to see the covers of many, many magazines.  The benefit of this is you can get some really neat ideas about pay per click ads!  This affiliate marketing tip is worth its weight in gold…what do you think the copy writers get paid to think up those little quick ads to draw in the reader?  Take their ideas and make them your own.
