Now, I will be up front and say I DO NOT OR HAVE NOT purchased this product… I have not used it. This is my opinion…

First of all, I don’t think that Site Build it is a scam… I also think that it probably has done some very good things for some people, and there are those that are die hards.

I don’t think the debate really revolves around whether or not this is a scam…It is not…

But the question is whether or not the product is relevant, and whether it is really a product that has become one that is pushed by a bunch of affiliates onto all the newbs learning how to make fast money on the internet.

When you consider that the cost is $300 a year, that is rather high…For someone new starting out, you really don’t need to pay that much.

You can start out with the free platforms. Blogger will allow you to monetize a blog, and you can have as many as you want. So for the cost of ZERO, you can get started.

Then, it comes to the learning how to make fast money….well…you can read some great blogs that lay it out for you competely. Let me point you to a few…

Then Theres the ever so wise and loooong winded….Grizzly..over at how to make money online.

And theres the earn cash online dude who will lay it out for you….

Now..when you are ready to get more advanced, you can get a hosting account for about $10 bucks a month and host unlimited domains…try host gator…I use them…hostgator.com (no affiliate link)

And then you can register your domains at 1and1 dot com…again no affiliate link…

Basically, you can get this all for about $130 bucks a year.

So, is the SBI a scam..no, but the thing is it is just so darn expensive for what you get…it was great in it’s time, but with so many other resources outthere, you can really do better for less.

Most people looking to make fast money are broke and need the cash…so learn how to make fast money…don’t learn how to lose fast money!

Don’t forget…The key to making fast money in this business is to target keywords that people search with the intent to buy, then go build links to those posts. That;s it….

You see where this is all going? People are really looking for this stuff, and they think this is really something that is going to help them.

There really may not be many ways to make money fast now. For those of you looking for tips to make money fast, you may be in for a rude awakening.

There are the gurus you say you can make $10,000 in 5 days with a simple website, and put it on auto pilot, but I think you have to understand that that is a bunch of hype. Can you make money online? Can you make money internet markieting? Absolutely. I make money everyday. And yes, the money starts to come in more on auto pilot the more you do it.

You gotta understand that anyone that is out there telling you that you can make money fast is a scammer. The make money fast scam is alive and well, and it is making money fast, but it’s not making you money very fast.

But, the question everyone always asks is… is it an easy way to make money? Hell No! If you are looking for make money fast tips, then you are in the wrong place. Here we will talk about how to make money with internet marketing, and we will talk about affiliate marketing tips, but it is not fast!

It is easy money, but you have to understand one thing, you will need to work for it. It takes time and it takes nurturing. Think of this like your little garden.

Needless to say, I followed their advice and stopped into bloggerunleashed.com and was completely captivated. I was drawn into his in yourface style, and his no BS approach. ( I could send him a link to his url title, but I owe him a make money online linke).

Anyway, this brings me to start clicking on links and reading comments, and I come across this dude named Griz, or Grizzly, or something like that.

Pretty quickly, I am also drawn into his quick wit, and honest approach. So I mosey on over to his how to make money online blog, and man, things start to click.

I think I have read the entire blog about 20 times so far. and when ever I am bored or tired of link building, I go and re read. I alway find something new, and bet a better understanding. He has done quite a bit for all us learning SEO, and the grey methods.

Known for his looooong looooong novel posts, the guy knows how to write, and he knows how to draw you in.

I bet he could get most people to send him money if he asked…he may have a niche site sendmeyourmoney.blogspot.com…who knows? If he were from Nigeria, he’d probably be a zillion aire….if not already…

Oops I digress….

This is the man that can start a niche site with a brand new domain, and in 4 months get it to rank on page one for make money online, and have a Pr4.

This is the man who can have a blogspot site rank #1 for make money with No PR.

This is the man who lives out in the boonies in Canada somewhere where the snow is 10 feet thick and you need a helicopter to visit.

This is the man who decides one day to start a make money with adsense site on a new free blog platform, and get it a featured blog in less than a week and have the highest commented post as well.

This is the man you need to take alook at and start reading if you don’t know him….

Oh yeah….I forgot, I was supposed to be giving props. Well, Griz, thanks for all the humor, insight, free information, and community that you have created in the MMO niche.

When people start out, often, they try to go for the home runs, and they think they will hit it out of the ballpark in one try. What happens? Miserable failure! and then they give up.

We had a chat today with Vic, and guess what? Most of his niche attempts fail! Yes, they go no where. But, 3 out of 10 hit it, and he has enough of those to be able to make what he makes on line.

One of the thing we talked about today is that you need to go for something you have a real chance to hit.

Question: If you find a keyword that is a really good buying keyword, and you get 10 searches a month, that you can take position one with a few articles and a BMD run, would you do it?

Answer: If you said no, because there is not enough traffic, then that is why you are struggling. You are probably going for the keyword that has tons of traffic, but guess what….tons of traffic means competition, and that means you will have to work damn hard for it.

Why not throw up the site that will get you 1 sale a month? It only cost you 15 bucks. Say you make 100 a year from that site. That means that essentially you made 85 bucks for that year. It breaks down to .23 a day.

What do you think about that? Most people scoff at that. Imagine you have 100 sites doing that. Again, virtually no effort sites… 23 bucks a day, or about 8500 a year.

Now, this is worse case senario. Lets say you get to .50 a day. Now you are talking 18,250 a year.

But, in reality, you will have some bigger winners….

The point is this. Go for sites and keywords you can take over easily, leave the hard ones for the big boys, and build lots of sites. Make a dollar a day per site, and build a site a day. 365 sites making a dollar a day is $133,225.00 a year.

Is that doable? Can you make money online that way?

Anyway, she was always very engaged and enthusiastic about things and was always at the chats he used to host. She is also a member of the Affiliate Academy, which I am as well as many other good people are now members of.

In her email, she expressed to me how she is having such a hard time…she does internet marketing part time, as she spends her full time raising and home schooling her young child. She is reading a blog from another of the greats named Grizzly. His how to make money blog tells the ins and outs of how to make money online wtih adsense.

She says she is having a hard time with it. Now, I admit, I am no genius, and I am not raking it in yet..with adsense. As of today, I did have my best day with adsense. I made just over $15. Now while you may not think that is something to jump up an down over, I will tell you this.

I have been working on my new network of sites, since September. Last month, I was making $3 a day with adsense, so as you can see, as my sites are aging, and I continue to gather links to the sites, and they age, the big G is starting to give me some love. As well, I am staring to get some action from Yahoo, as it seems that Yahoo takes a bit longer to give you love.

The other thing I did was reoptimize my posts to have a better keyword density in the hopes of telling the google bot what kinds of adsense ads to put up on the site.

In my email reply back to this person, I told her that from my understanding, you want to devote an entire site, whether a wordpress blog, or a blogspot blog to one set of keywords, and work all the posts around that keyword.

Then you want to create the posts and target long tail keywords that are very related to the main keyword you are targeting.

Once you get the longtail keyword up, build links (or as Griz says, gather links) to the post to get it to rank. While doing that, make sure your post has the right keyword density to allow the google adsense bot to know which ads to place on the site.

Write enough posts targeting long tails, get them all to rank then you start to get traffic. The other benefit, is that once you start getting all those longtail keyword phrases to rank, you start to build authority for the site and the set of keywords.

What happens next is you are building a momentum, and you start to pull your site up in the serps.

Keep building the links and posts until you feel that you have optimized all you can. Once you are done with that, the only thing left to do is…Wash Rinse and Repeat.

Oh yeah, one other thing, Both Griz and Vic will be the first to say you need to do alot of experimenting. Think Babe Ruth. He had the most home runs, but also the most strike outs.

In Griz’ latest post, he says he throws up alot of crap and sees what sticks. Vic says 20% of his network creates 80% of his income. Think Paretos Principle people.

Now…GO BUILD SOME LINKS! and go make money writing online!

I happen to be a big fan of Court and Mark, and I follow what they are talking about.  Most recently they talked about how important link building is, and how important it is to really focus on what matters…Did I say Link buidling?

I had found some niches that were very profitable, and eventually dried up however. But, the thing is I know this works. One thing to remember, website traffic is good, but website traffic that converts is really what you want.

I will say one thing, for those of you looking for the quick bucks, this may not be for you. It takes time and effort. I work at this every spare minute I have. But, I can see results , and I can see how building a solid infrasturcture will pay off dividends in the future.

What I have settled on is that organic traffic is the way to go. And if you read the last post, you will and should understand that organic rankings you need to gather many links that are optimized for your intended keywords.

To review…you can never say it too many times.

1. Do the keyword research and find what keywords are low competition, and high search.

2. Build a site.

3. Start gathering links like crazy (well, not too crazy…can you say sandbox?) How bout, in a natural progression.

4. Rank for your keyword.

5. Open Bank account.

Now, you have to understand that it takes 3-6 months on average to rank for a non too tough keyword.

As I move forward on this blog, I am going to work at offering affiliate marketing tips, and ways to get good rankings.

I’ll also introduce you to some of the people that I like to follow, who offer great information, and they don’t scam you.

The first thing you need to completely understand, is that going the organic traffic route is a method that you get paid in 4-6 months. Do not expect to see that your site ranks number one for your search term, or keyword in a few weeks.

If that were possible, then don’t you think that everyone would be doing it? Now, there are rare instances that it does happen, but remember what I am saying. they Are RARE!

You need to build your site, then you need to get links to that site. Every link has a value associated with it. Think of links as votes. Every link is a vote for your site. Some votes have more power, and some have less.

Overall, the more links you have the better you will rank. But… That doesn’t mean that you will rank if you go and get thousands of links in a day. Google will simply ignore those links, and worse off, you could get penalized for those links.

Gradually, your links get counted, and then you see your site starting to move up in the search rankings. Eventually, you hit position one, and you dominate that search term.

In time, we will discuss the different kinds of links, and what you want to do to get them.

But what is important is that you understand from this post is that links are the little guys that are going to get you paid if you work organic search traffic.

Since starting this whole thing right around December 1, I am almost up on my first year anniversary.  This is pretty exciting. As I have had winners and losers.  One of the neatest things I have done is stumbled upon a site that I have been following for now since about May. That makes 5 months, and I have radically shifted my approach to affiliate marketing.

One of the things I have gotten involved in is SEO and PPC.  One of the interesting things is that PPC is really a form of SEO…

Meaning, if your SEO sucks, then your PPC campaigns will suck too.  That’s because you will not have picked the right keywords, or optimized them for success.  You will pay higher CPC, and have less conversions.

Overall, the important things Ive learned that apply to both is this.

1. You need traffic. Not just lots…but more importantly targeted.  You need to pick keywords that are targeted to the right people. People that have a need to fill.

2. You need high rankings on the big G. That means position 1.

3. If you are going for organic traffic. Your seo skills will revolve around your ability to get links.  Anchored text back links to your site.  At the end of the day, the one with the most links wins.

Anyway, I plan on visiting and posting more about the new things Im working on and the things you need to do if you plan on making money online.
